Pet Policy
A limited number of Mountain Creek Inn rooms are available for guests bringing pets weighing less than 25 pounds. A $35 non-refundable fee applies at time of confirmation. Other than the above mentioned rooms, pets are not allowed inside any Callaway Gardens building, near the Bird of Prey shows or within the Robin Lake Beach area. All service animals are excluded from above policy.
Deposit Policy
Callaway Gardens requires a first night’s deposit charged to a valid credit card at time of confirmation. Deposit policy may vary during Special Events.
Cancellation Policy
Reservations may be changed 7 days prior to arrival to include cancellation or change in length of stay. Within 7 days of arrival, changes will result in the forfeit of your deposit. Cancellation policy may vary during Special Events.

Bring your wading shoes for this program based on the biologic criteria of Georgia’s Adopt-a-Stream program. July 12: A Great Escape – Olde Jail Museum Tour in Conyers
What: Olde Jail Museum Tour in Conyers

Where: Olde Town Conyers, Conyers, GA
The museum serves to educate the public about the history of Conyers & Rockdale County through a series of collections, documents, and displays. Housed in the former (1897) Rockdale County Jail, the Olde Jail is open on the first Saturday of every month by the Rockdale County Historical Society. In addition to the downstairs museum, visitors may explore the upstairs cells where prisoners were once incarcerated. There is no charge for admission or parking. The Georgia Traveler T.V. Show is a wonderful idea thought up by the Georgia Public Broadcasting Station. This show entails many places in Georgia to visit. Residents who watch this show, get first hand accounts on how beautiful these places really are. Some tourist spots that are aired on the show are well-known vacation spots, while others are little known and untouched by society. These untouched wonders are my favorite. This show is my favorite as well. Let it be known that this PBS show: Georgia Traveler, was the inspiration of this blog.

I enjoy watching the hosts of the show, as well as seeing the mishaps that may come along. Regardless of what happens during the show, the hosts all display a warm friendly attitude and their personalities exude a sense of kinship. I hope this show airs for a very long time.
