I just visited Sweetwater Creek State Park over the weekend- don't miss the LEED certified visitors center. Sweetwater Creek is the closest state park to ATL, only 15 minutes away. This park has great hiking and really cool trails. You can visit old ruins and do some fishin too. Get out and get dirty!
